An Embodied Workshop for Nervous System Awareness & Self-Inquiry

In yoga philosophy, sthira refers to steadiness — a grounded stability that allows us to move through life with greater clarity and intention.

In this extended workshop, we’ll explore how that steadiness can be cultivated both in the body and the mind.

Stress patterns often operate beneath conscious awareness. Over time, they shape how we respond to pressure, conflict, and change. Through intentional breathwork, accessible movement, and structured self-inquiry, this experience offers space to observe those patterns with curiosity rather than judgment.

The evening will include:

  • Gentle, grounding movement to release accumulated tension

  • Breath practices that support nervous system regulation

  • Layered journaling prompts designed to illuminate habitual responses

  • Guided integration to anchor insight into embodied awareness

This is not a traditional yoga class, nor is it group processing. It is a thoughtfully held container for embodied reflection — a space to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with steadiness.

You’ll leave with practical tools you can apply beyond the mat: breath techniques, simple mobility practices, and clearer awareness of your patterns under stress.

A journal or notebook is required for the self-inquiry portion of this workshop. To support presence and minimize distraction, phones and laptops are discouraged.

Comfortable clothing for gentle movement is recommended.
